Privacy First Architecture

1. Overview

Welcome to Deenify ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by RazasDevStudio (Package ID: com.razasdevstudio.deenify). Deenify is an offline-first Islamic companion application providing authentic Quran PDFs, Dua & Azkar datasets, Khatme Qadriya, Tasbeeh/Dhikr counter, Zakat Calculator, and Sadaqah tracker.

We are deeply committed to respecting your privacy. Deenify does NOT collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal user data. All your reading progress, bookmarks, Dhikr counts, and settings remain 100% stored on your local device.

2. Information Collection and Use

Deenify is designed to function locally on your device without requiring user account creation, logins, phone numbers, or email addresses.

A. Personal Data

We do NOT collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers.

B. Offline Local Data Storage

The following information is stored purely on your local device storage (via standard Android device preferences):

Quran Reading State: Saved edition preference, page numbers, and reading bookmarks.
Dhikr Progress: Custom phrases, current count, and target goals.
User Preferences: Theme preference (Light/Dark mode) and local notification reminder times.

Note: Local data stored on your device never leaves your phone and is automatically erased when you uninstall the app or clear app data via device settings.

3. Asset Delivery & Internet Usage

Deenify utilizes Google Play Asset Delivery (PAD) to download authentic Quran edition PDFs on-demand directly from the Google Play Store servers. This ensures the base installation size remains small.

On-demand downloads are managed strictly by Google Play Core services.
No custom remote servers, tracking domains, or third-party analytical servers are contacted by Deenify.
Once downloaded, Quran PDFs are saved to your app's private local storage and remain 100% readable offline.

4. Device Permissions Requested

Deenify requests only the minimal system permissions required for local user-requested features:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Used strictly to post local daily reminder notifications configured by you inside the app. No remote push notifications or ad alerts are sent.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used solely to re-schedule your local daily reminders on your device after your phone reboots.

Deenify does NOT request or access location permissions, contacts, microphone, camera, or external storage files.

5. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Deenify contains NO third-party advertisements, NO tracking SDKs, NO analytics tools, and NO social media integration.

We do not use services such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any advertising networks.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Deenify is safe for users of all ages as it contains zero data collection, zero ads, and zero inappropriate content.

7. Security

We value your trust in using Deenify. Since we do not transmit any personal data over the internet or host user data on external servers, your data is inherently protected by your Android device's native app isolation sandbox.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Any modifications will be posted here with an updated effective date.
